Preston is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with experience in applying and developing health economic research methods. His PhD focused on supplying data inputs for health economic evaluations of lung cancer control policies such as tobacco control and lung cancer screening. Specific areas of research include characterising patterns of care for lung cancer patients, determining the clinical and economic impacts of novel systemic therapies for cancer, and estimating health utility values and quality-adjusted life years.
