Stephen is a Research Fellow in the Lung Cancer Evaluation and Policy Stream. He completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics in 2015 where he explored nearly-breaking waves using mathematical and computational methods. Since then, he moved on to public health research with a focus on estimation of population-level smoking behaviour via computer simulation models. His current focus is on developing a microsimulation model of lung cancer to help unlock the full potential of risk-based lung cancer screening program in Australia.
