Dr Verena Wu (PhD, BA-Psych Hons) is a Research Fellow at the Daffodil Centre within the Triple I (Innovation-Implementation-Impact) stream. Her PhD was focused on the development and evaluation of a culturally appropriate self-management intervention (WeCope) for Chinese-speaking immigrants affected by cancer. She has a strong research interest in advancing equitable cancer survivorship and psychosocial care for priority populations, including multicultural communities. She has expertise in qualitative research methods with a particular focus on approaches informed by health equity implementation and cultural sensitivity frameworks.
