Dr Asres Bedaso Tilahune is a public health researcher, joined the Daffodil Centre in December 2023 working in the Breast Cancer Policy and Evaluation stream. He obtained his PhD in Public Health from the University of Technology Sydney in September 2023. He has over eight years of quantitative research experience focusing on different public health topics and conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
Asres has previously worked for Curtin University, as a Research Assistant, in the school of population health. Prior to his PhD, he had been a faculty member at Hawassa University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ethiopia, involved in research, teaching and community service activities. He has authored over 40 high-quality publications and currently working as an Associate Editor for BMC Public Health and BMC Reproductive Health journals.
