Dr Bora Kim is a registered nurse with experience in clinical, educational, and research in areas of supportive cancer care. Her research focuses on colorectal cancer survivorship, patient-nurse communication in supportive care, cancer care for young people, and symptom management during chemotherapy. She has been involved in various exploratory and implementation projects aimed at identifying practice gaps and their solutions. Her current work focuses on enhancing timely service access for colorectal cancer survivors in rural and regional settings, and developing a care model for home-based remote symptom monitoring for patients undergoing systemic cancer treatment.
