Stream lead, Daffodil Centre Manager of Operations

Karen Hill is the Centre Manager of Operations for the Daffodil Centre. Karen is responsible for the strategic and operational planning and management of the key corporate functions of the Daffodil Centre including, financial management, human resources, governance, compliance, reporting, quality assurance and digital infrastructure governance.

Karen initially started at the CCNSW in September 2019 as the Manager of Research Operations and then took up her current role when the Daffodil Centre was formed in March 2021.

Karen’s expertise lies in fostering collaborations and managing stakeholder relationships so that the joint venture can function in the most operative and strategic way. Karen manages the Research and Operations (ROSe) stream and together they guide the staff and students of the Daffodil Centre across the two organisations, often navigating and producing various policies and procedure along the way to accommodate the complex operating model of a Joint Venture.

Karen holds a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences and Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and has previously held roles at UTS, UNSW and the University of Sydney as well as in the not for profit sector in the UK.
