Dr Saima Islam, joined the Daffodil Centre in April 2021 working in the Breast Cancer Policy and Evaluation and Ovarian Cancer streams.
Saima has previously worked for South Australia Health, as Manager in Population Health Surveys in the Department for Health and Wellbeing and as a Research Associate and Statistician at the University of Adelaide.
She has a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Adelaide and a strong background in statistics with a Masters of Science in Statistics, majoring in Biostatistics.
