Sally Byatt is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney.
Her research will focus on evaluating a range of potential new cervical cancer screening strategies for people with Down syndrome that will support equitable health choices.
This research aims to tailor a pre-existing modelling platform of HPV infection and cervical cancer carcinogenesis. It is hoped that the modelled analysis will inform U.S. guidelines and government policy making decisions in the U.S. and other countries.
Sally has a background of clinical and research cytogenetic based investigations and holds a master’s degree in Reproductive Health Sciences and Human Genetics from the University of Sydney.
