Dr Verena Wu (PhD, BA-Psych Hons) is a Research Fellow at the Daffodil Centre within the Triple I (Innovation-Implementation-Impact) stream. Her PhD was focused on the development and evaluation of a culturally appropriate self-management intervention (WeCope) for Chinese-speaking immigrants affected by cancer. She has a strong research interest in achieving equitable cancer care for culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and has expertise using qualitative methods informed by cultural sensitivity frameworks.
