Jo works within the Health Economics stream and is based at the Sydney School of Public Health, University of Sydney. Her focus is on economic evaluations assessing the cost-effectiveness of artificial intelligence in breast cancer screening, and the cost-effectiveness of supporting clinicians to provide smoking cessation support to pregnant women. Jo’s background is in health economic evaluation and population health research and program evaluation. She also holds roles as A/Manager, Aboriginal Health Evidence and Evaluation within the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence at the NSW Ministry of Health, and Adjunct Associate Lecturer, Sydney School of Public Health at the University of Sydney.
