Katie is a behavioural scientist, health economist and clinical evaluator with advanced degrees in Public Health and Health Economics. She is currently finalising her PhD, which focuses on the psychosocial impacts and determinants of lung cancer screening using mixed-methods and qualitative techniques. Katie has also contributed to multiple projects beyond her PhD, including development of the information materials and education resources for the National Lung Cancer Screening Program. During her candidature, Katie has received multiple grants and prizes, including the Early Career Researcher Award at the Australian Lung Cancer Conference 2025.
