Dr Monjura Nisha is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Cervical Cancer and HPV stream. Monjura completed her PhD in public health from the Sydney School of Public Health, The University of Sydney in 2020 with a focus on perinatal epidemiology.
Kay Rimalos is a Modelling Assistant in the Cervical Cancer and HPV stream. Her current work involves supporting the stream on the development of the Policy1-Cervix model and evaluation of the harms, benefits, and cost-effectiveness of cervical cancer screening strategies in high-income countries.
Jingjing He is a registered nurse and PhD Student. As a nurse, Jingjing has worked across public and private hospitals, outpatient clinics, community nursing and clinical trials. Her PhD focuses on women’s experiences of scalp cooling to reduce alopecia caused by breast cancer chemotherapy. Her PhD also examined the sustainability and impact of a contemporary scalp cooling system on public and private hospitals in NSW to inform future practice and clinical implementation.
Rani Chand is a Research Assistant who primarily works on the ICBP and the prostate-specific antigen testing guidelines review project.
Dr Bora Kim is a registered nurse with experience in clinical, educational, and research in areas of supportive cancer care. Her research focuses on colorectal cancer survivorship, patient-nurse communication in supportive care, cancer care for young people, and symptom management during chemotherapy.
Albert Bang is a Data Analyst with over 10 years of experience in the Prostate Cancer stream. Albert’s main duties include designing, conducting and reporting descriptive analyses of cancer occurrence, mortality and survival, undertake analysis of large datasets, such as PCOS, PCOR-ANZ and 45 and up studies.
Harriet Hui is a Project Coordinator for the Mathematical Modelling Stream, providing research administrative support to the Stream and Hub 4. Harriet holds a master’s degree in public health and has a strong interest in global health, in particular health systems challenges within low-and-middle income countries and health inequities amongst different population groups.
Tay Za Kyi Win is a PhD student at the Daffodil Centre with Cervical Cancer and PHV stream. Tay had a MBBS degree from Myanmar and a master of public health (MPH) from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston, USA.
Dr Peter Sarich (PhD, MPH, BSc(Hons)) is a Research Fellow in the Lung Cancer Policy and Evaluation stream who specialises in cancer risk factors and prevention, with a particular focus on alcohol, tobacco and cancer epidemiology.
Dr Lauren Winkler (nee Touyz) (PhD, MClinPsych, BPsych(Hons), BTeach is a research psychologist who leads the coordination of the ScreenEQUAL program of work. Dr Winkler’s research has a strong emphasis on equity and increasing participation in the National Cervical Screening Program among people with intellectual disability in our community.
