Dr Vaneckova is an epidemiologist whose research interests are focused on the effect of environmental and non-environmental factors on human health. Her expertise includes the application of advanced epidemiological and statistical methods to large, routinely collected health and climate datasets. She specialises in time series, case-crossover, and spatial analysis using Geographic Information Systems. Her more recent work involves macrosimulation modelling of tobacco-related diseases to provide evidence on various anti-tobacco interventions in Australia.
